Sunday 18th May 11am Hearing Dogs are trained to help deaf people with every day life including alerting them to fire alarms, doorbells and telephones and help to break down the barriers and isolation that deaf adults and children can feel.
Hearing Dogs are often from rescue centres and need intensive training to perform their roles. There will be demonstrations of the Hearing Dogs at work, owl and hedgehog rescue, stalls, raffles, live music and fun activities for children.

Raffle tickets cost £1 each and are available from Briar Dawn reception.
We are collecting materials and old clothes which can be shredded and recycled for raising funds for Dr Kershaws. We also need Tombola prizes. Thank you to everyone who has been so generous with their time and by donating to make this a successful day.
Proceeds from the open day will be divided between the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Dr Kershaws and The NW Air Ambulance.
